CP Communications Joins North American Spectrum Alliance

CP Communications is proud to join the newly formed North American Spectrum Alliance, uniting broadcasters, major sports leagues, and media professionals to protect the spectrum essential for live production.

The Alliance, managed by the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA), includes members such as the NFL, MLB, UFL, and USTA, all dedicated to safeguarding the frequencies vital for broadcasting, wireless microphones, cameras, and other RF production elements.

Brad Cheney, Vice President of Field Operations and Engineering at Fox Sports, will chair the Alliance, emphasizing the collective effort to address spectrum scarcity affecting sports, news operations, theaters, concert venues, and entertainment hubs.

The Alliance will host webinars on January 14 and 16 to discuss threats to wireless mics and cameras, open to both members and non-members.
